The world the Way Walkers inhabit exists on a single Continent, which according to legend, was raised up from the ocean floor after the destruction of the ‘old world’.  The geographical regions are as varied as the people who populate them, from the frozen, mountainous Solki Islands in the North to the thick jungles of the Furōrin-Iki in the South, to the coastal plain of the Lu’shun Republic or the river-cleft expanse of the Tazu Nation.  Because their own unfolding histories are deeply intertwined with that of their Continent, characters often learn that their identities are tied to their homelands—no matter how far from them they roam.
