Line editing on Tangled Paths is done! *faints from relief* So, now it goes to proofreading, and then to formatting, and then released! *squee* I’m so excited!!! Now we had a few delays in there because of my shoulder issues, plus wedding fun and just general life going sideways, so my editor says we’ll most likely not make a March release date at this point. 😦 (sorry guys!) BUT we should see a late April or early May release (in time for my birthday, yay!) so keep your eyes peeled and some money ready in yr accounts. 😉
As far as other Way Walkers projects, I’m doing my very best to make sure you guys have at least one tile a year– so last year you got Way Walkers university2, this year you will get Tangles Paths, next year, 2015 (i hope) you will get University3, and then again, hopefully the sequel to Tangled Paths in 2016. It’s not a perfect system, and i can’t promise this is how it will turn-out, but that’s what i’m aiming for. ^_^

Sorry for the quiet..

….but i’ve been caught up in wedding plans. DX Let me clue you in for those who don’t know: weddings are expensive. I helped a friend plan theirs like, 4 years ago and prices since then have almost doubled in my area. Its scary. And i know everyone says, ‘make it simple’ and ‘keep the guest list small’– but the thing is i AM and it’s still expensive. Too expensive. I keep having dreams that my engagement party suddenly becomes my wedding because ‘oh look everyone is here!’ A then there’s the nightmare where the bridesmaids corsets all get into a fight and start bleeding satin red ribbons. O.o;
Needless to say, i haven’t been writing much–none, actually. The shoulder is on and off between ‘okay’ and ‘OMG i’m gonna die’ and then the buzz of all this wedding stuff has got me to the point where i cant even look at my CoG files without having a panic attack, and the second novel, well, lets just say i’m deleting more than i write atm. 😦 To be honest, i’m tired, i pushed myself very hard to get the sequel done for last year, and think i blew a fuse in the process. I keep trying not to think about it, but i feel so bad, knowing everyone is waiting on me and i just cant write right now. i don’t know how long it will last. It’s already lasted longer than any dry spell i’ve ever had. And i’ve literally tried everything t kick start it again, and with no results. I’m so sorry guys. 😦
On the bright side, Tangled Paths will be out in a few months (i hope). It will be out in eformat first, then in paperback. I plan on having an open house release party/book signing–which means i’ll be posting a time and place for anyone to come and see me. More details when i know them, and i do hope i can actually meet some of you wonderful fans face-to-face. ^_^

I miss drawing
Posted by waywalkeradmin
So i picked out a picture from the lovely Genevieve-Amelia on deviantart.com and started working….
As you can see, i’m progressing slowly, due mostly to my stupid hand and shoulder hurting…but it’s something, and i’m more capable at this than writing at the moment. I’ll eventually post the finished work on dA, bit for now, i thought i’d share.

December hates me
Posted by waywalkeradmin
So, as wrist and shoulder aches ebb ito more manageable levels, i’m now beset with a head cold of doom. Fever, aches, sneezing, sore throat, cough AND to top it off, the heater has decided to break. SO not only am i sick, but i’m slowly freezing with no hope of help coming until the earliest Monday. UGH The last craft fair also did not go well, so i’m very, very short on holiday funds due to well just everything.
I also need to confess that i’ve been having a very hard time writing. It was an issue even before the injury and cold, but it’s not getting better with all this extra piled on. I’m honestly considering just putting aside everything until the new year, in the hopes that perhaps the moody mess i’ve fallen into will finally pass.
till then,

Pecking away slowly
Posted by waywalkeradmin
Well, i can write with one hand, and peck with the other, but only for short periods. I don’t need surgery, but lots of rest. Not sure how this will affect everything. Doing some basic line editing on my Clan Lands novel, as its the least stress on my hand.

Injury

For reasons unknown, i have slipped lose the bicep tendon on my left side. The pain of this is considerable, and the recovery time indeterminable. i can only type with one hand, and even that is painful. all neck movement is painful. i will not be writing or answering any forum or fan questions— so please if other fans know the answers to any CoG types of things please assist any new readers for me. thank you.

Some updates, changes, and possibilities.
Posted by waywalkeradmin
So i’ve been line-editing Tangled Paths the last few weeks along with my lovely crew over at Red Adept. It’s been a cool process, and i’m learning a lot. Things are going on schedule and we might even release before the March 2014 date, but no promises. I will let you guys know if we release early, though. 😉 Because Red uses an outside printer, the print books for Tangled Paths are going to run around the $20 rage, so keep that in mind. Ebooks will of course be considerably cheaper, though i’ve not gotten an exact estimate yet, i’d assume well under $10. I will also be purchasing books myself for fans to buy directly from me; these will all be signed. 😉 There’s also a good chance once Tangled Paths is released that i will begin attending conventions with my fellow Red Adept authors– if that is the case i will start posting dates and places so you guys can finally come visit, and i can thank you personally for all the great support. ^_^
WW:U3 is getting picked at very slowly, but i try and add a little bit to it each week. I’m in the middle of the high craft fair season, so a lot of my free time has been spent working on jewelry and such to replace sold inventory. The last show is on Dec 1rst, so after that i hope the regular writing times will pick up again. On another note, it seems like a lot of ppl will be getting kittles for the holidays, as no ones really showed much interest in buying them. >.<; (we’ve only sold one)
So that it for now, though i will say there’s some other stuff in the works, but i’m not going to say what until i’m sure it will happen. So hang onto your seats, folks, Way Walkers is just getting started.
